The Black Collective

The Office of Intercultural Engagement fosters an environment where students can seek support, share their narratives, and celebrate heritage. Your experiences contribute to the diverse tapestry of our campus, and the Black Collective provides a nurturing space where your voices can resonate and thrive.

Community Engagement
Student Affairs and the Office of Intercultural Engagement (OIE) are committed to providing Black students multifaceted support, this is done through programs such as the Black Collective, events throughout the school year, and learning opportunities. In addition to this, there are dedicated professional and student staff whose aim is to provide support and events centered around the providing space for Black students on UNCG’s campus.
When you enter OIE (located in the Elliot University Center, room 062), we want you to feel welcomed, safe, and seen. Our office is a place for you to connect with other students on campus.
