The day will include sessions on admissions, financial aid and scholarships, and tour UNCG’s historic campus. Participants will also hear from current UNCG Students & Parents about student life and other resources for students at UNCG. Lunch will be provided. 
Raíces y Resonancias: Exploring Hispanic Heritage Through Culture and Mind Tuesday, September 30, 2025 3:00 PMMHRA 1607The Departments of Languages, Literatures, and Cultures and Psychology invite you to a collaborative event celebrating the voices, histories, and identities of Hispanic heritage students. Together, we will reflect on the cultural richness of the Hispanic world and examine how heritage, identity, and mental health intertwine in shaping the student experience. The event will feature student testimonies, interactive discussions, and opportunities to engage across disciplines, fostering a space where culture and psychology meet in dialogue. Panel of Students & Faculty: Hispanic heritage students share their personal narratives, followed by reflections from professors in both fields.

Led by Lorena Guillen, the Ensemble will perform in the Weatherspoon Art Museum’s McDowell Gallery, where the exhibition Fighters for Freedom: William H.
