A UNCG woman not celebrated or praised enough, so join OIE in recognizing all of the amazing impacts UNCG women have on us! 

How Can You Help Recognize Them During WOmen’s History Month? (Heading highlighted in bold and an orange banner).
Nominate someone who's had an impact on YOU, not just UNCG! Every Friday during the month of March, OIE will be highlighting and recognizing 10 UNCG women via social media and our weekly newsletter! 

Who Can be Nominated? (Heading highlighted in bold and a light pink banner).
Any UNCG affiliated women can be nominated Faculty, Professional Staff, Students, Housekeeping/Maintenance, etc.! This list goes on! 

How Do I Nominate An Unsung WOman Hero of UNCG? (Heading highlighted in bold and a purple banner).
Submit nominations ASAP via Microsoft Form (linked below). Only the first 50 women nominees will be recognized via social media, but have no fear-we will recognize every nominee at the end of the month.

Empower Hour: From A Screen Near You – How Women in Media Drive Social Change
Thursday, March 20th12:00 PM to 1:00 PMEUC AzaleaJoin OLCE to explore how the Social Change Model applies to the representation and influence of women in the digital age. The goal of the Social Change Model—driving positive change for communities—aligns with efforts to empower women and amplify their voices. This discussion will explore how media serves as a powerful tool for change, and how the key principles of the Social Change Model intersect with the work of women in media, fostering a more inclusive and equitable digital landscape.
The event will take place on Thursday, March 20th, from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM in EUC Azalea. Lunch will be provided!
